A versatile player, Carter saw time at safety, linebacker, wide receiver and h-back last season as a junior. On offense, he finished the year with 10 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown.

Besides football, Carter also plays basketball and participates in track.

Head coach Lou Sorrentino: "One of the things that is a question about him but may be a plus is where to play him. He played defensive back - was a safety/linebacker type - and wide receiver. There is a good chance he could be our quarterback next year. We'll run more with him at quarterback. He's real raw, but he's a great athlete."
