As a senior in 2007, Hopkins racked up 61 tackles including 19 tackles-for-loss en route to earning first-team all-metro and second-team all-state honors.

Hopkins was a first-team all-metro selection his sophomore season. Although he didn't garner the same accolades his junior season, he turned in a rock solid performance.

Head coach Scott Burton: "Statistically, he was not as good as he was his sophomore season, but overall our team defense was better and a lot of that is attributed to Antoine's aggression. Antoine grew up and understood his role as it fits in the defense. Virginia Tech actually commented on that when they offered him. They said he did not make as many big plays as his previous year but they thought he was a better player."
