Wilson was perhaps the most versatile player on Oscar Smith's team in the 2006 season. In his junior season, he had 30 catches for around 700 yards. He also had 300 yards rushing, totaling over 1,000 all-purpose yards. Wilson, who had two kick returns for touchdowns, had 14 touchdowns in total his junior season.
Head coach Richard Morgan: "Jamal has the best open field moves of any of our players. We line him up all over. We look for ways to get him the ball. He is electric with the ball in his hands."
