Ruff, a defensive tackle, led Norview's defensive linemen in tackles and tackles-for-loss last season as a junior. For his performance, he earned first-team all-Eastern district honors.
A good overall athlete, Ruff, who is a starting offensive tackle as well for Norview, also plays varsity basketball.
Head coach Robert Toran: "He has always had the speed. He’s an intelligent player. He understands the game. He has become more physical. I think his best attribute is that he runs so well from [offensive] tackle to [offensive] tackle. It is not a real big deal for him to chase things down from the backside."
