Dobbins averaged 26 points, 10 rebounds, 6 steals and 5 assists during his senior season at the Maret School. Had a quadruple-double during his senior season in points, rebounds, steals and assists. Ranked by Bob Gibbons as one of the Top 100 Prospects in the nation. An outstanding scholar athlete, Dobbins was an honor roll student and class president in high school.
Dobbins got a lot of playing time as a freshman and showed flashes that he was going to be a good player, starting 16 of 28 games. However, he transferred to Richmond in the offseason, and went on to a great career. He was Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year during his junior and senior seasons. He led his team in rebounding, assists and steals during his senior season. He hit the game winning shot in Richmond's upset win at Kansas during his senior season. He was later drafted by the NBDL.
