A good athlete, rebounder, and defensive player, Vinson needs to improve his back-to-the-basket game. As a junior, averaged 10 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks per game. As a senior, averaged 13.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game and was chosen the Region 1-AAAAA player of the year in Georgia after leading the Lowndes Vikings to a 20-8 record and region title.
