TechSideline.com and ESPN Radio AM 1430 in Blacksburg have formed a media partnership. This alliance brings two major sports outlets together to better serve Virginia Tech fans. Under the terms of the partnership TSL staff will appear on ESPN Radio 1430 AM, and ESPN Radio will provide audio files for posting on TechSideline.com.

ESPN Radio 1430 AM is also providing "Hokie Headlines" audio for TechSideline.com. The "Hokie Headlines" are a one-minute snapshot of the big stories of the day in Virginia Tech athletics and can be accessed from the TSL home page. Hokie Headlines will be provided every weekday and will usually be updated before 10:30 AM.

When asked about the benefits of the partnership, Aaron Marks of ESPN Radio AM 1430 said, "The benefits to TechSideline.com users and ESPN Radio listeners will be tremendous. We look forward to interviewing Will Stewart and Chris Coleman on a weekly basis. Their knowledge and depth of VT sports are nearly untouchable. We've also laid plans for the TechSideline team to be a part of our VT football tailgate show. We could not be happier with having Will & Chris and the TechSideline.com team as the media partner for ESPN Radio AM 1430."

Will Stewart, General Manager and Managing editor of TechSideline.com, added, "We're very excited to be partnering with ESPN Radio AM 1430 and bringing the ESPN Radio brand to TechSideline.com. This partnership will allow us to bring high-quality audio content to the web site on a regular basis, something that has been hit or miss for us in the past. Our subscribers who like audio content will find this to be a great boost to their enjoyment of the site, and we're pleased to help ESPN Radio AM 1430 provide quality content to their listeners, as well. This is a win-win partnership for fans of ESPN Radio and fans of TechSideline.com. As time goes by, I'm sure we'll think of even more ways to use the partnership to the advantage of our readers and listeners."

Marks continued, "We hope that the VT sports fan will begin to see benefits by the end of May. Visit TechSideline.com and listen to ESPN Radio AM 1430 for some very exciting things! We're pretty sure the Tech fan is going to love what's coming."
